About Us

Chattanooga Regional Homeless Coalition (CRHC) works to prevent and end homelessness in Southeast Tennessee. We believe that everyone deserves a safe and stable place to call home, and we are to making that a reality.

As the area's Continuum of Care (CoC) lead agency, CRHC applies for federal funding on behalf of the region for programs of local agencies that are committed to the goal of ending homelessness in Southeast Tennessee.

CRHC uses a database to track services that agencies provide to people experiencing homelessness and ensure that resources are used efficiently. This database is called the Homeless Management Infomartion System (HMIS).

We count people experiencing homelessness every January to ensure that their voices are heard and to get a better understanding of the problem. HUD mandates this count for communities across the country.

The Coordinated Entry Process is a centralized system that helps people experiencing homelessness find the right services. This process ensures that the most vulnerable people receive the help they need before it is too late.
